CARTHODE RAY TUBE

The author have an experienced 30 years ago when to answer one of the physic paper,forget paper 1 or paper two and on of the question is regarding the cathode ray tube (tiub sinar katod).I am not remember what is the question but until now I am still remember the name and my mind set is CRT is purposely for a TV set for that time.

After 30 years ago,I am keen to know the evolution of CRT.According to the internet source a CRT is a specialized vacumtube in which image are produced when electrons beam strikes asphosporescent surface.Call also a picture tube.

A CRT composed 

1,)Electrons gun -generates an arrow beam of the electrons,for colour there are 3 nos of gun,red,blue and green.

2).Anod -to accelerates the electron for saving a electricity use

3)ELF field -change to low frequency of electromagnet and have 2 set of coil or plat,plate A for horizontal move and plate B for vertical moves.Complex signals are apply to the deflection coil and the apparatus which control the intensity of the electrons beam

4).Electrods beam -strikes the skrin to produced tiny and bright spot

5).Skrin-to show an image

The concept is when the power on,the chathode with the filament spark or release a radiation through the anod and ELF field and then the electrons strikes the beam to produce the SPOT on the skrin.The spot races from left to right and moves from top to the bottom and the process is call theraster.Lastly withe scanning process the image are appeared on the skrin.

The first innovation for TV starting at 1930 and until the first TV sold to the public on 1963.Nowdays with the new technology like LCD,Plasma and others the CRT tubes no more already but the concepts is still same or have some modification to suit to the latest technology.May be the CRT now days is quite small using the REE material likes a lithium battery replace the conventional battery.
